Job Description

Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting the portfolio managers in the daily management of company's fixed income investment securities portfolio, including trade analytics and reporting. The portfolio is comprised of Treasury and Agency Debt securities, Mortgage Backed securities (including CMOs), Asset Backed securities, Commercial Mortgage Backed securities and Municipal bonds. Analyze bonds for the portfolio managers/traders to assist them in making purchase/sale decisions. Help create trade packages post execution. Run portfolio analytics as requested, and work with the portfolio analytics team in preparing monthly analytic reports. Prepare monthly portfolio performance reports. Coordinate data flow between various departments within Treasury. Develop and maintain security level relative value data warehouse. Monitor credit performance, create and maintain performance tracking reports. Perform ad-hoc requests as they arise.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
1 year fixed income experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, finance, accounting, economics or any quantitative discipline
CFA candidate
1-3 years in a financial firm, preferably with some basic fixed income experience
Strong quantitative and organization skills, with attention to detail
Ability to work with spreadsheets (excel knowledge)
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Solid oral and written communication skills
