Job Description

Due to our high level of business activity and flat organizational structure, associates will be expected to work directly with senior bankers and contribute immediately to deal teams in a variety of roles, from research and business solicitation to transaction execution and client management. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be capable of managing multiple projects with minimal supervision. In addition, the candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, uncompromising ethics and the maturity to provide the highest level of professional service at all times to clients and colleagues alike.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Supporting all aspects of transaction execution
• Developing marketing memorandum materials
• Mentoring and managing analyst and associates with respect to specific client deliverables
• Supervising, directing, and conducting industry, market and company research
• Supervising, creating and developing financial analysis and valuation, including buyouts and M&A
• Supporting new business development and pitch development activities
• Assisting senior bankers in negotiating and closing transactions
• Professional development of junior banking professionals

The successful candidate will have prior experience in investment banking and may also have experience in corporate development or strategy consulting as well as strong knowledge of the software industry. She or he will also possess excellent oral and written communications skills and strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles. We also desire individuals who are capable of thinking creatively to solve problems. Candidates should have a demonstrable track record of success, beginning with a bachelor's degree from a top university. A MBA is strongly preferred.
