JOB DESCRIPTION
Global Consumer Business Leader supports marketing efforts for Global Consumer Debit in the Global Consumer Marketing Group
Responsibilities
* Participate in the development of Global Debit Marketing Plan based on Regional/Local marketing objectives and strategies. * Partner with regional and market-level teams to build an effective global/local approach. * Ensure global assets across integrated marketing plan, including all advertising (TV, print, OOH, digital, mobile), promotions, etc. shared and utilized where appropriate across global community. * Capture positioning and messaging strategies across Regional and local marketing mix. * Identify needed consumer insights across key Regions/markets and, where appropriate, drive research to further uncover and exploit insights. * Lead projects within cross-functional and/or cross-regional marketing team that may include representation from Marketing, Product, Sales, Corporate Relations, Corporate Events, Market Research and external agencies. * Represent marketing team in client facing presentations and providing ongoing marketing consultation as appropriate when unique, product-specific expertise is needed. * Capture campaign performance, including ROI, of specific initiatives and of overall marketing program. * Build and maintain relationships with Product Management, Client Services, Merchant Marketing and Financial Institution Marketing to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies. * Lead global or regional implementation of functional marketing initiatives (i.e. development of brand standards, guidelines, policies, practices, procedures). * Manage budget and ensure on-plan delivery of costs and demonstrate an understanding of key P&L leverage points.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelors degree required/MBA preferred * 7+ years progressively responsible business experience, with majority in marketing roles that involved strategy & planning as well as execution, preferably across multiple marketing disciplines. * Demonstrated track record of implementing marketing strategies based on business objectives and managing marketing programs that delivered measurable business results. * Experience managing external advertising and marketing communications agency partners. * A demonstrated ability to integrate information from a wide variety of sources to arrive at optimal problem solutions and offer innovative alternatives and options towards resolution. * Highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact. * Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills, and leads by influence and example. * Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills. * Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop quantitative models (e.g. business case and complex forecasting). * Exceptional project management skills and is able to drive consensus in cross regional and cross functional teams. * A demonstrated understanding of financial indicators to measure business performance including ROI and an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision making. * Proficient on all Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Advanced level PowerPoint required.
