JOB DESCRIPTION
This positions works within a cross-functional team, serving as a liaison between Line of Business, Operations and the Creative team for the development of direct marketing assets. Translates and communicates marketing intent, oversees the creation of any resulting requests and ultimately ensures that intent is correctly maintained throughout the creative process. Manages the development of products and creative assets within solicitation process, ensuring that marketing materials are on brand, high quality and unassailable. Adheres to tight timeframes and works independently to resolve problems. Manages and trains contractor Marketing Managers.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business team to develop and implement marketing communication strategies.
• Develop creative briefs for acquisition initiatives, including internal creative team and external agency projects.
• Champion a consistent brand voice and look and feel through all customer touchpoints.
• Optimize marketing strategies based on test results, market changes and consumer insights.
• Manage direct marketing creative development process from creative brief through execution.
• Handle various project-oriented tasks as needed such as process improvements, claim substantiation, competitive research and creative package improvements through internal team.
• Collaborate and solve marketing and process issues with Line of Business, Legal and Process Managers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree
· 5 years of marketing communications and or advertising work experience
· 2 years of Direct Mail experience
Preferred Qualifications:
· Multi Channel and Internet marketing experience is a plus.
· Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
· Account services/brand marketing role at marketing agency or company
· Experience working in close conjunction with a Marketing or Art team
· Experience with Financial Products and Services
· Product or Project management experience.
· Masters Degree
