The Position
We are looking for an independent detail-oriented Product Analyst with strong oral and written communication skills to join our Product Management team.

The Product Analyst will collaborate with the Product Development, Client Services and Sales to define and document product management and customer requirements into functional specifications that will result in intuitive user interface designs for existing feature enhancements and new functionality implementations. As a member of the product management team, the Product Analyst gathers key data and supports the direction of the product suite; defining and driving projects through to completion. Additionally, the Product analyst will provide technical product support to Ipreo’s Account Management teams through strong written documentation and product training.


Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed functional product specifications and test resulting new functionality and product enhancements.
• Define and deliver product documentation and training for Account Management, Sales, Service Teams and clients.
• Provide product support to Account Management and other constituents based on need.

Once hired, the candidate will be working in a dynamic team, in close relationship with multiple internal and external client-facing departments including Data Management, Development, Account Management and Sales & Marketing. The ideal candidate for this role is an energetic, entrepreneurial professional with technical acumen and a desire to work in a fast passed environment.



Requirements
• Bachelors’ degree in a Business, Information Science, Math, Economics or other degree with strong qualitative focus
• Experience with financial services applications (i.e., online banking, application processing) desired
• Experience performing requirements gathering and functional specification development using accepted software development methodologies in a team environment
• Experience managing the design phase of development cycle as well as facilitating cross-departmentally the communication of functional specifications, negotiating priorities and resolve conflicts to minimize delays to the schedule; desired
• Experience creating user documentation that is easy to understand and effectively communicates to key stakeholders
