Job Description

The primary role of this dynamic position will be to work closely with our Managing Director in Bermuda and to assist our portfolio managers and financial advisors representing high net worth individuals.

The individual we are looking for will be familiar with the following tasks and responsibilities:

Conducting company valuations based on discounted cash flow, comparable public companies and comparable transactions analysis
Monitoring industry development (e.g. investiture, M&A, restructuring)
Investment screening, due diligence, deal negotiation and post-acquisition management
Conduct research, due diligence, and financial analysis and coordinate on site due diligence by sub contractors
Identify strategically important startup companies exploiting emerging technologies and business models
Building financial models and valuations for mergers, acquisitions, and investments
Managing a database tracking deal-flow in current projects being considered


Typical skill sets needed:

At least 2 years in an analytical role in the securities industry
Extensive experience with spreadsheet modeling and financial systems
A business degree and a CSC designation or equivalent would be required
Detailed knowledge of IPOs and mergers and acquisitions
