Job Description:
The Division VP, Business Development will lead the end to end recruiting of experienced advisors into the Franchise platform to drive field force growth and associated downstream metrics of high value client acquisition, asset growth and revenue. In addition, this role will identify and lead initiatives to improve advisor candidate quality to drive retention and productivity growth to support the initiatives of the The Personal Advisors Group in the field.
- Lead the Experienced Advisor Recruiting strategy in the leadership of divisional recruitment team. Provide effective leadership and structure to drive the team accountability for meeting experienced advisor and associate financial advisor recruitment goals based on the advisor growth and associated metrics (e.g., plans, high value client acquisition, net gain, etc.).
- Develop and execute recruitment tactics to attract advisor to the organization. Direct accountability for candidate quality that would have a downstream impact on retention and productivity of advisors.
- Increase PTI through advisor revenue acquisition by influencing product and platform evolution by identification and prioritizing changes that will increase our current capabilities to recruit quality experienced advisor candidates to the firm. Accountability for driving execution of franchise advisor training to improve effectiveness in recruiting experienced advisors.
- Provide effective team leadership through coaching, feedback, employee development and performance management to ensure optimal contribution to organizational success.
Requirements:
- Prefer knowledge of the TPAG field org, business metrics, and key business drivers, i.e., understanding of the interdependencies of the P&L and FFV.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and establish a strong and effective recruiting organization.
- Knowledge of recruitment strategies in a wealth mgmt industry.
- Proven ability to recruit, hire, train, inspire and retain top talent in the recruitment field.
- Proven ability to manage vendors in the admin of recruiting process.
- Knowledge of industry product and platform competitive intelligence to strategically recruit.
- Proven oral and written communication proficiencies.
- Proven ability to influence senior business, corporate and field, internal business units, external vendors and other relationships.
